At Tabula Musica, we believe that people are not disabled, but that society creates barriers that disable people with impairments from participating in activities that are considered basic human rights and needs. Access to music and music making is one of those basic rights. Our mission is to create an environment that enables anyone, regardless of their level of physical ability to make high quality music, and/or perform in a professional capacity. This is made possible by our use of Accessible Music Technology, where we can program the instruments to fit the individual. We are proud to be the first organization in Switzerland to utilize and share this technology. Our hope is that one day we will live in a society where music is made and enjoyed in a way that represents and celebrates every timbre of diversity in our communities.
